Another cookie recipe

I've had this little paper booklet of cookie recipes for 28 years. You can see it's much loved and much used.  I don't remember where we got it from.  I seem to think it was stapled inside of one of my Mom's magazines.  It was a keeper then and still a favorite today.  The Kringle Cut Outs are my go-to for classic Christmas cookies.  They are crispy, yet soft and buttery, hold their shape well, and are just so good with a sweet touch of icing.  I'll be making those with the kids with in the next few days.

I made these this past week:  Butter Drop-ins.

OK.
First, how is 1990 TWENTY_EIGHT years ago????
And second, that book looks perfect.
Your cookies look delicious!
We baked today. Well, my daughter baked and I cleaned behind her!
Have a cozy week!

The fact that it uses "butter flavor Crisco" as not one but two of the ingredients really places this recipe in time, doesn't it?
