Our anniversary dinner was nice! We went to Cafe' Jo Jo's in Morgan City, and I have to say I'm impressed. It's very small and they don't have a big menu, but it's very nice. Expensive - but it's not like we drop $75 on dinner very often. I had a salad, crab cakes, shrimp alfredo, and bread pudding. Clint had a salad, crab cakes, a seafood stuffed steak (special of the day), and bread pudding. His steak was to DIE for!!! I would definitely go back.

After dinner, I called to check on Val and she was fine. We were going to see a movie, but when we got to the theatre the line to get in was crazy! It was all the way down the side of the building, and it was already 7:00 (showtime.) There really wasn't anything showing that we wanted to see that bad, so we decided to skip it. We came home and watched Madascar instead. Rather Clint watched it while I fell asleep!!

It was a great night out though. Just having a special dinner at a grown-up restaurant was more than enough.

OH and I was given instructions that on Tuesday I am to leave the house by 11am and I'm not to return until 5:00. Hmmmmm!!!!!

Sounds like a good meal! Your Valentine's Day instructions sounds interesting; can't wait to here what Clint has planned! I heard about the throttling months ago.

I've seen a real drop in service since Thanksgiving. Sometimes now they don't send the next DVD until the next day and even then sometimes the delivery takes a few days. OK, during the holidays, part of it could have been the high volume of mail the post office has to deal with, but I still see it to some degree. Also, before Thanksgiving, actually the new year, we never received a disc from a different town than our nearest Netflix facility in the Chicagoland suburbs; now we have gotten a DVD from Baton Rouge, Gaithersburg, MD, and Flushing, NY. Also, have had 2 unplayable discs and the wrong disc sent since the beginning of January. It seems when you slow down at times with sending them back, then all of a sudden service starts to improve. Now Blockbuster online offers 3 at a time unlimited DVDs and then 4 free in-store DVDs each month, one per week. But I've heard mixed or negative reviews here too.

How is Val feeling? Hope she is better. Kathryn.

P.S. Are you on LJT anymore or did your subscription there expire?

Also, make sure you watch Madagascar. It's really cute. Kathryn
