Yesterday Clint's employer sponsored a Family Fun Day in Lafayette. Even though I still didn't feel well, we went. It was really nice, and had I felt better we would have had a great time. There was TONS of food, games, jump houses, clowns, a train ride... all sorts of things. I wish I would have felt well enough to walk around. Mostly I sat under a pavilion trying to keep WARM!! When we left home, the sun was out and it was in the mid 60s. I wore a t shirt, shorts, and sandals. When we got to Lafayette, it was cloudy, dreary, damp, and about 15 degrees cooler! BRRRR! Lucikly I had a sweater in the car for Valerie, as I had dressed her in shorts also. Minutes before we arrived, Clint was called on stage to be presented an award for all of his efforts in organizing the Fun Day. I felt so bad that we missed it, because if I hadn't been sick we would have been there much earlier. If I hadn't been sick, we would have enjoyed it so much more. :-( I know Clint put a lot of work into planning it, and I feel like I "ruined" it in someway by being sick. I know it's not my fault, but still... The day should have been much better.

I need to learn how to boost my immune system. I've been sick 3 out of the past 4 weeks! Twice back to back I was really sick. Ridiculous. Physically I'm so worn down and have no energy. I loaded the dishwasher this morning and it wore me out! That's pathetic. I need to start taking my vitamins again. I already exercise and eat right. I'm hoping this is the last of the illnesses for a while because I can't handle any more.
