Elf on the...

School's out for Christmas break - yippee!!  I'm looking forward to sleeping in for two weeks as are the kids.  December is usually really busy but this year we haven't done much at all.  No choir concert.  No band concerts.  No honor choir or honor band auditions.  Just a whole lot of nothing.  There's rumors going around that the kids aren't returning to the classrooms and school will be all virtual in January.  We shall see.

It's also rumored that it's going to be cold for Christmas!  Wind chill in the 20s??  It doesn't feel like Christmas when it's 80 degrees out.

Santa passed through all the neighborhoods today.  We could hear the sirens for about an hour before he actually got here.

Yesterday the principal at Valerie's high school dressed up in an elf costume.  During every class change, he hid somewhere for the students to find him pretending to be an Elf on the Shelf.  How hilarious is this?

And the best one of all at dismissal....
